Dr Bianca Cavazzin

Bianca is a Lecturer in Organic Geochemistry and currently serves as the deputy lead of the BECS research group and its facilities. Her research encompasses a variety of subjects, including paleoclimate reconstruction, biomarker development, statistical modelling, environmental pollution (organic pollutants, biomonitoring), analytical chemistry, and organic residue analysis in archaeological contexts. Prior to her current position, Bianca worked as a Mass Spectrometry Scientist at the British Museum and as the laboratory manager of the analytical suite at the University of Kent, School of Chemistry and Forensic Science.
